Puttin' on the Pink Website Launches

CORVALLIS, Ore. (June 30, 2008) — The Corvallis Clinic Foundation has launched a website for its second “Puttin’ on the Pink” Style Show to be held in October.

The website, at puttinonthepink.com, includes a slideshow of images from the past event, rotating sponsor logos and a store that will feature merchandise with the event logo. It includes information on the Style Show and an Education Day for breast cancer awareness.

The website was created by Visual People Design (www.visualpeople.com) of Corvallis. Visual People is a “Pink Velvet” partner for the event.

Visual People created the site to use its content management system, based on open source software. With the CMS in place, committee members, Foundation staff and volunteers with authorization can make updates to the site without needing to know complex code or worry about mistakes. Pages, text and images can all be added to the site easily.
